Nicole Yeo is a farmer, environmental educator, and a former designer. She was raised in Seattle, and is living in the unceded land of the Lenni Lenape, known now as New York City.
As a second generation Chinese American immigrant raised in suburbia, I am engaged in the long process of undoing internalized white supremacy, and learning to be anti-capitalist and anti-racist.
My intention to farm is rooted in a desire to heal my ancestral lines toward reciprocal relations with land, engage in ancestral storytelling through nuturing the land, and to build toward food sovereignty, racial equity, and land justice.
Though I am designing less, I’d love to collaborate if we share a similar vision.
