Nicole Yeo is a designer and aspiring farmer. She was raised in Seattle, and is living on the unceded ancestral land of the Lenni Lenape, known now as New York City.
As a second generation Chinese American raised in suburbia, I am engaged in the long process of undoing the effects of white supremacy and capitalism through my work.
My intention to farm is rooted in a desire to heal my ancestral lines toward reciprocal relations with land, and to build toward food sovereignty, racial equity, and land justice.
Though I am designing less, I’d love to collaborate if we share a similar vision.
